Two Fishes within Half hours

Date: 28-07-2018       Time: 1940hrs & 2010hrs      Rod: Penn Powergraph Surf 12ft.      Reel: Shimano Torium 20       Rig: Long Snood Bottom feeder      Bait: Fresh Tamban

Reach there around 1700hrs plus. Jig for some fresh tamban and cast out one rod. Tide is on the way up and the current is smooth. Only down point was the strong southern wind was blowing endlessly causing choppy wave. This had affect the surface predator fishes to stay more deeper in water. End the daylight with no result.

Night fall and I change my rig to bottom feeder. Just as the sky turn dark, the first fish bite. My reel screech…I strike the rod and feel some weight. Slowly wind back and up come a red snapper.

Change bait and cast out again. Half and hour later my reel screech again. This time a little louder…Wind in and a nice finger mark snapper surface.
