When I go there, the weather was good n cloudy. But a sudden rain change the whole things. When the rain started to fall and I pull up my squid light to avoid it get wet, I saw a small cuttle fish cling on to my tamban bait. I did not scoop it up as the rain is heavy.
After the rain, I check on it and it still cling on the bait even after forty five minutes of heavy rain with gusty rain. I scoop it up and hookup on my rod. I decided to cast at another spot as the guy who earlier occupied the place had ran off during the rain.
For almost three hours, I didn’t check the bait as I know it was live when I cast out. Its only when I thought of packing up that I wind back the line. I feel heavy and thought it could be rubbish as the southern wind had carry many floating rubbish on the sea.
End up it was a Fingermark Snapper about one kg and I use my rod to lift it up.
