Tide is mid way up and the current was strong. Around 2045hrs, i heard my drag sounded. Look at my rod tip it did rattle abit. I pickup the rod and strike hard. Yes..the fish had just took my fresh tamban bait. It struggle awhile before surface up to swim along while i retreat my line. I already notice this behavior is a Threadfin. I call out my friend which is a distance away from me to grab my squid pole. Once the fish is near, scoop it from the head and its in the net. It weigh 2.5kg on the scale.
