Fish one: 1.5kg Threadfin. Time: 1835hrs Rod: Penn Slammer 10.6ft white Reel: Daiwa Saltist 40 Rig: Long snood bottom feeder Bait: Fresh Tamban
Tide just turn up. After jigging my bait fish, setup two sets of tackles on bottom feeder rig and casted out.
1835hrs, rod tip movement follow by a screech on my reel. Strike and fish on. It surface up quickly and I easy wind in. Threadfin on the line. Saw the hookup just on the mouth. Decided not to lift it up by the rod. Quickly I get my wife to take over the rod and I grab my squid net to scoop it up.
Fish Two: Palm size Fingermark Snapper Time: 1936hrs Rod: Penn Power Stick 10ft. Reel: Shimano Torium 20 Rig: Long Snood bottom feeder Bait: Fresh Tamban
Wanted to change bait. Find my line loosen. Pump up the rod and feel some weight at the end. Slowly wind back and found this palm size fingermark snapper tag along. Get my friend Yousof to get my squid net to scoop it up.
Double hit to celebrate my 62 birthday.
Thanks.
