Three fishes is landed today by me and Simon
Fish 1: Brown Sting ray 6Kg Time: Early morning around 0030hrs. Rod: Century Tip Tornado Reel: Daiwa SL 50H Rig: Long snood bottom feeder Bait: Fresh squid
It was his last cast before packing up for the trip. When he was ready to pickup the rod after packing up all his barang(things), suddenly he reel alarm start screaming. Easily he won the battle and with the help of two anglers there who gaff it up for him.
Fish 2: Flat head Time: 2040hrs Rod: Shoreangler spinning surf Reel: Silstar AT 80 Rig: Long snood bottom feeder Bait: Spotted kat kat
This evening the bait fish was rare. Just manage to get few tamban. So i keep all the few pieces kat kat that I caught also as spare bait. Bait tonight also not lasting. So for this rod I use kat kat as bait. To my surprise, it did caught this flat head.
Fish 3: Spotted Snapper or Kachi Time: 2145hrs Rod: Loomis Franklin President 11ft. Reel: Spinning Rig: Two hook Apollo Bait: Prawn meat
Simon bring his squid lamp along but it can’t light up due to part damage. So he just do fishing. While we were chatting, his rod tip rattle and he strike it. The fish did put up a good struggle before he surface it. It was a Kachi fish or spotted snapper near to a kilo in weight. I use my squid net to scoop it up for him.
