It is a public holiday here today. So fishing is always better than working. As the tide full around 1300hrs, I make a early trip down at 0900hrs. Jig my live bait and set up two sets of tackles. Today I arrange one rod on surface and the other on bottom. Much easy to change the bottom bait as it always not as lasting.
The sea was calm and the current smooth flow as its not windy. Except that a dark cloud gather on top of batam island.
Around 1110hrs, as i was changing my bottom bait, the other rod on surface rig the reel start screaming. It continue for a few time before I strike it. Yes, a queen fish seen jumping out on the water surface. Easily I wind back and use the rod to lift it up.
Ya…another fresh fish n chip meat on the way.
