Tide is on the way up. Current flow is smooth. But around 8.30pm, rain come close just about 1km away. I almost keep up and run. As my things is more so still packing up. Friends already ran off. Awhile later, rain stop n the sky is clear. I decided to continue n re setup. Lucky enough, this stingray strike. It fought hard for awhile before surrender. I got one guy there to help hold my rod n get the rope gaff. It hit the scale at 4.35kg female long tail brown stingray.
Later i hook up a small emperor fish with defrost squid as bait.
