Went for a short trip. Just wanted to fish on this tide turning period. Water is still lowering down. Current is coming to stop soon. Quickly jig for a live bait and lower down as still have an hour of day light left.
Cast out two rods. One on bottom and the other on surface rig. Bottom bait is lasting at this period.
Around 1845 hrs while i was taking my dinner, I saw my rod tip rattle. I stop and go for the rod. I saw a fish jumping out on the water surface. Wolf Herring…a small one. Slowly wind back and use my rod to lift it up.
